Maoists lift ban on screening of Hindi films for Dashain. CPN (Maoist) on Thursday has lifted the ban imposed on screening of Hindi movies in Nepal due to the upcoming Hindu festival Dashain and it is said that the lifting is temporary owing to festive season.The breakaway Maoist faction led by hardliner Mohan Vaidya has imposed ban ten days ago, while launching a movement for protecting national sovereignty. All three busy theaters of QFX– QFX Jainepal, QFX Kumari and QFX Central in Civil Mall, Sundhara were closed due to it.
